Like many businesses in Quebec, we are preparing for the 2022 construction holiday season. This year, the summer break will officially begin on Sunday, July 24 and will end on Saturday, August 6.
Since many facilities will be closed for two weeks as of Monday, July 25, it is important to confirm with your recipients that your goods will be delivered without worries during this period. Therefore, we invite you to promptly check with your recipients that they will be open on delivery days in order for you to avoid having to pay additional costs.
Unfortunately, in the event that your consignee is closed on the first delivery attempt, you will be charged additional fees for holding the goods and/or for a second delivery. It is your responsibility to advise us of any special instructions to be added to the bill of lading.
