It is with great pleasure that Transport Guilbault announces the construction of a new terminal in Rimouski. This initiative was undertaken following the sale of our current terminal, which has become too small to meet the extraordinary volume growth in this region.
This project, valued at $ 1.5 million, is expected to be completed in September 2017 and will have a significant impact on the region, as Transport Guilbault plans to allocate certain contracts related to the construction project to local companies.
The arrival of the new terminal will also have a positive impact on the efficiency of our company, ensuring better customer service: the cross dock (transfer dock with doors on each side) will offer increased productivity when handling goods, the enlarged yard will facilitate the maneuvering of equipment and it will be possible to accommodate greater volumes for years to come.
Transport Guilbault sees far and sees big always with the concern to facilitate the transportation of our customers’ goods. This new terminal in Rimouski clearly fits into this pattern.
